己所不欲，勿施于人。Do not do to others what you would not have them do to you.

“人固有一死，或重于泰山，或輕于鴻毛”。為人民利益而死，重于泰山。 Though death befalls all men alike, it may weightier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather. To die for the people is weightier than Mount Tai.

先天下之憂而憂，后天下之樂而樂。 Be concerned about the affairs of state before others, and enjoy comfort after others. Be the first to feel concern about state affairs and the last to enjoy yourself.
