問：8月4日，美國(guó)國(guó)防部國(guó)防合作安全局發(fā)布消息稱，美國(guó)務(wù)院已批準(zhǔn)向臺(tái)出售總價(jià)7.5億美元的40套中型自行榴彈炮系統(tǒng)及相關(guān)設(shè)備。請(qǐng)問中方對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？

Q：The Pentagon's Defense Security Cooperation Agency announced on August 4 that the US State Department approved the sale of 40 Medium Self-Propelled Howitzer artillery systems to Taiwan in a deal valued at $750 million. Does foreign ministry have any comment?

答：臺(tái)灣是中國(guó)領(lǐng)土不可分割的一部分。美國(guó)向臺(tái)灣出售武器，干涉中國(guó)內(nèi)政，損害中國(guó)主權(quán)和安全利益，違背國(guó)際法和國(guó)際關(guān)系基本準(zhǔn)則，更違反一個(gè)中國(guó)原則和中美三個(gè)聯(lián)合公報(bào)特別是“八·一七”公報(bào)規(guī)定，向“臺(tái)獨(dú)”分裂勢(shì)力發(fā)出錯(cuò)誤信號(hào)，嚴(yán)重?fù)p害中美關(guān)系和臺(tái)海和平穩(wěn)定。中方對(duì)此堅(jiān)決反對(duì)，已向美方提出嚴(yán)正交涉。

A: Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory. The United States interferes in China's internal affairs and undermines China's sovereignty and security interests by selling arms to the Taiwan region. It runs counter to international law and basic principles in international relations, and violates the one-China principle and provisions of the three China-US joint communiques, especially the August 17 Communique. It sends wrong signals to "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, and severely jeopardizes China-US relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. China is firmly opposed to this and has lodged solemn representations with the US side.

中方敦促美方重信守諾，切實(shí)恪守一個(gè)中國(guó)原則和中美三個(gè)聯(lián)合公報(bào)規(guī)定，停止售臺(tái)武器和美臺(tái)軍事聯(lián)系，立即撤銷有關(guān)對(duì)臺(tái)軍售計(jì)劃，以免進(jìn)一步損害中美關(guān)系和臺(tái)海和平穩(wěn)定。中方將根據(jù)形勢(shì)發(fā)展堅(jiān)決采取正當(dāng)、必要反制措施。

China urges the US side to honor its commitment, earnestly abide by the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiques, stop arms sales to and military interactions with Taiwan, and immediately revoke relevant arms sales to Taiwan, lest it should cause more damages to China-US relations and peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. China will resolutely take legitimate and necessary counter-measures in light of the development of the situation.
