對(duì)一些結(jié)構(gòu)上對(duì)應(yīng)或部分對(duì)應(yīng)，比喻相似、意思相近的習(xí)語(yǔ)應(yīng)采用直譯和轉(zhuǎn)換相結(jié)合的方法，對(duì)等部分直譯，不對(duì)等部分進(jìn)行適當(dāng)轉(zhuǎn)換。按照英漢兩種語(yǔ)言各自的習(xí)俗、比喻和習(xí)慣表達(dá)方法譯出，做到既能確切表達(dá)原意，又符合譯入語(yǔ)的習(xí)俗和比喻。 以下習(xí)語(yǔ)就是采用這種方法互譯的。
