Hit the head 上廁所

hit the head可不是字面意思“撞頭”，而指的是“上廁所、上洗手間”。因為hit the head是海軍術(shù)語，“head”一詞常被水手和海事人員，用來指古代船只上指定的可以方便（relieve themselves）的地方。事實上，這些地方的門上都標著“head”這個詞。從此以后，Hit the head就有“上廁所”的意思了。
