“in”有“穿著、帶著”的意思 ；one's 某人的 ；birthday 生日；suit 套裝；字面意思是“穿著生日禮服”。但真實(shí)的意思卻有另一種含義！birth 出生；birthday 出生那天；人出生時是什么都不穿，所以，in one's birthday suit是一絲不掛，赤身裸體，寸絲不掛，赤身露體的意思。
