它使用的場(chǎng)景是這樣的：

You can say this after something bad has happened to someone who should have been more careful, or should have known better.

你可以在某人發(fā)生了不好的事情之后，這件不好的事情是他本來(lái)應(yīng)該更小心，或者應(yīng)該更清楚的時(shí)候說(shuō)這句話。

例：

A: Have you heard? Matthew was cycling home last night and crashed into a car.
