The names Tom and Jerry demand little to no introduction, as a lot of kids have spent their entire childhoods following the adventures of this notorious duo.

《湯姆和杰瑞》這個(gè)名字應(yīng)該不用過(guò)多介紹，很多小伙伴們都可以說(shuō)是看著這個(gè)動(dòng)漫長(zhǎng)大的。
 

Everyone probably recognizes Tom as a determined but impatient cat whose only life goal is to catch Jerry the mouse.

我們也都知道Tom是只意志堅(jiān)定的貓，其喵生目標(biāo)就是抓住Jerry這個(gè)老鼠，但他卻又非常粗心。
 

Their clashes, which would often result in some undesirable scenario for Tom, were a source of inspiration for an artist from Japan, Taku Inoue, who decided to capture Tom’s most unfortunate mouse-hunting moments in a series of mini sculptures.

他們的“沖突”總是會(huì)讓Tom十分倒霉，而這些尷尬的時(shí)刻也為一位日本的藝術(shù)家Taku Inoue

And while Tom is not particularly blessed with good luck, his charm is evident no matter what shape he takes.

Japanese artist, Taku Inoue, dedicated his time to create these amusing sculptures of Tom

However, instead of showing Tom in his usual cat form, artist decided to take a different approach

但這位藝術(shù)家并沒(méi)有用貓的普通形態(tài)來(lái)表現(xiàn)湯姆貓，而采用了一種獨(dú)特的形式。

People that have grown up watching Tom and Jerry probably remember Tom as an impulsive cat

And as a cat that was not particularly blessed with luck

并且總是很倒霉

The idea behind this series of sculptures was to capture Tom at his life's most unfortunate moments

所以這一系列雕塑就是要捕捉湯姆貓的一些“悲慘時(shí)刻”

While he wasn't a lucky cat, Tom most definitely had determination in abundance

雖然他很“悲慘”，但他的意志又是十分堅(jiān)定

And so what, if his determination to catch Jerry often resulted in most hilarious hunting accidents?

但只有信念也是不夠的，每次他想要捉住Jerry時(shí)，總會(huì)以一些“事故”告終。

We think these sculptures of Tom's failures are absolutely adorable!
