大城市or小城市？一個永恒的難題

　　隨著新的一年的來到，又有很多畢業(yè)生將要結(jié)束大學生活，從而踏入社會。

　　根據(jù)教育部所發(fā)布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2017年畢業(yè)的大學生將達到795萬，比2016年增加了30萬。隨著畢業(yè)生的增加，就業(yè)競爭也越來越激烈，而該在什么地方展開自己的職業(yè)生涯，對于求職者來說，是一個永恒的難題。

　　2016年12月，中國全球化與研究中心，和一家專門從事高等教育管理數(shù)據(jù)分析的公司MyCOS，基于城市文化吸引力，發(fā)布了畢業(yè)生首選城市排名。

　　數(shù)據(jù)顯示，畢業(yè)生最想展開職業(yè)生涯的城市是北京、深圳和上海。畢業(yè)生愿意放棄平均每月1000塊的物質(zhì)回報，而去享受這些大城市帶來的精神愉悅，比如說，社交環(huán)境、城市設(shè)施、基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施、國際氛圍以及自身的成長機會。

　　然而，數(shù)據(jù)還顯示希望在一線城市工作的畢業(yè)生數(shù)量在下降。所以，應(yīng)屆生應(yīng)該去大城市工作嗎?

　　YES 是的

　　Big cities are more suitable for fresh graduates who aim high.

　　對于胸懷大志的應(yīng)屆生，大城市再合適不過了。
 

　　1. There are more career opportunities in big cities.

　　大城市有更多的就業(yè)機會。

　　Large enterprises and thriving industries are usually located in big cities, and they provide good opportunities and better salaries. For fresh graduates, a good starting point where they can show their capabilities may lead to a brilliant future. It's not easy for some majors to find a good job in small cities.

　　大型企業(yè)和景氣產(chǎn)業(yè)通常坐落在大城市，能夠提供更好的機會和更高的薪水。對應(yīng)屆生來說，一個讓他們充分發(fā)揮能力的、好的出發(fā)點能夠給他們帶來一個更好的未來。況且，對有些專業(yè)來說，在小城市找工作著實不太容易。
 

　　2. Big cities provide a more convenient life for young people.

　　對年輕人來說，大城市的生活更方便。

　　Better transportation and infrastructure facilities, more shopping malls and entertainment venues - all these add to the urban flavor. For those who want to set up their own homes after graduation, big cities are more attractive as they have better medical, and educational facilities and living conditions.

　　更好的交通基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施，更多的大型購物中心和娛樂場所——所有這些都增加了城市的味道。對那些畢業(yè)后想建立自己家庭的人來說，大城市在醫(yī)療、教育和生活條件方面都具有更多的吸引力。
 

　　3. Big cities treat young people in a fair way.

　　大城市對年輕人一視同仁。

　　Even without strong connections or background, as long as you are smart and hardworking, you can lead a good life in big cities. Big cities usually give more weight to personal efforts than guanxi compared to small cities, and are more suitable for ambitious fresh graduates.

　　即使沒有強大的關(guān)系和背景，只要你夠聰明、夠努力，你就可以在大城市過上美好的生活。跟小城市相比，大城市更注重個人努力而不是關(guān)系，更適合野心勃勃的大學生。

　　大城市就業(yè)機會多，可競爭同樣激烈。

　　Small cities, however, are developing fast with policy support, and are eagerly seeking talent. Graduates are given more importance in small cities, and they can gain experience in grassroots China as well as make more contributions.

　　小城市可不一樣，它們在政策的支持下快速發(fā)展，而且求賢若渴。畢業(yè)生在小城市的作用更重要一些，在祖國的基層服務(wù)同樣是在為社會主義建設(shè)做貢獻啊。
 

　　2. Life is easier in small cities, with affordable living costs and better environments.

　　小城市生活更輕松，生活成本低、環(huán)境更好。

　　The household registration system and whopping house prices often close the door to living in big cities for graduates, but small cities are very livable, not to mention the material conditions are getting closer with those in big ones. Also, as air pollution and smog get more severe in big cities, why not enjoy the fresh air and affordable life in small cities with ones you love?

　　對于想生活在大城市的畢業(yè)生來說，戶籍管理制度和飆升的房價就將他們掃地出城了。然而，小城市就很宜居了，更不必說小城市的物質(zhì)條件也跟大城市越來越接近。此外，空氣污染和霧霾在大城市也愈發(fā)嚴重，所以，為什么不執(zhí)子之手，在小城市享受新鮮的空氣和經(jīng)濟適用的生活呢?
 

　　3. Fresh graduates can achieve work-life balance in small cities.

　　應(yīng)屆生在小城市更容易實現(xiàn)工作與生活的平衡。

　　Most of today's graduates are the only child in their families, and have to take responsibility for the whole family, especially when parents get older. Small cities near one's hometown make it easier to take care of the family, as well as enjoy more leisure time.

　　現(xiàn)下，大多數(shù)畢業(yè)生能都是獨生子女，當父母老去時，必須肩負起家庭的責任。小城市離家近，更容易照顧家庭，與家人一起享受空閑時光。
