其實(shí)說(shuō) throw the rubbish

給人一種“高空拋物” 的感覺(jué)!

對(duì)!就是電視上看到那種!確定不會(huì)出人命嗎?

如果你在家里，

要去“倒垃圾” 可以說(shuō)：

take out the rubbish

例：

Could you please take out the rubbish when you leave?

你走的時(shí)候能倒一下垃圾嗎?

如果你在外面，

手里有“垃圾” 需要扔，可以說(shuō)：

put it in the trash can

例：

Don't drop the bottle there, please put it in the trash can.

不要把瓶子扔在那，請(qǐng)把它扔到垃圾桶里去。

如果你要 “清理垃圾桶”，可以說(shuō)：

empty the recycle bin

就是千萬(wàn)別跟歪果仁動(dòng)不動(dòng)就說(shuō)

Throw the rubbish!

美式英語(yǔ)用:

trash(紙、塑料)

garbage(食物垃圾)，

有的時(shí)候這trash和garbage的也會(huì)互相通用

英式英語(yǔ)用:

rubbish(垃圾)

In American English, the words garbage and trash are most commonly used to refer to waste material that is thrown away.

在美式英語(yǔ)中，garbage(垃圾)和trash(廢物)這兩個(gè)詞最常被用來(lái)指那些被扔掉的廢物。

比如說(shuō)

...the smell of rotting garbage...

...腐爛垃圾的味道…

She threw the bottle into the trash.

她把瓶子扔進(jìn)了垃圾箱。
