　　Shoot to fame或者rise to fame都指“一舉成名”、“迅速走紅”。

　　詞綴-dom表示“……的狀況、地位”，stardom也就是“明星身份”，而shoot to stardom則指“迅速成名”。

　　Sensation意指“感覺、轟動”，它可以表示轟動一時的熱門人物或事件。Overnight sensation則指“一夜成名”。

　　精彩的表演讓他們一夜成名。
