Are you done work?

Are you done work?

done with work

did you finish your work?

正如上班用go to,下班就用get off。

“What time do you get off work?”

“What time are you off work?”

“下班”就是“get off work”

類似的還可以用到get out of work ,get out of work這個(gè)用法更偏向于你本人離開你的工作地點(diǎn)這樣一個(gè)意思

“What time do you get off work” literally refers to the time that one’s work day ends. In-other-words, a nurse may get off from her shift at 7 pm. Therefore, “she gets off work at 7.” However, the respective nurse may indeed get off at 7, but she may may not physically be able to “get out of work” until the next person arrives to cover the next shift. Consequently, the nurse may “get off work” at 7, but may not “get out of work” until a little bit after 7.

“What time do you get off work”字面上就是在問(wèn)一天工作結(jié)束的時(shí)間。 因此,她7點(diǎn)get off work。然而,確實(shí)有的護(hù)士會(huì)在7點(diǎn)下班,但實(shí)際上她可能無(wú)法在7點(diǎn)get out of work(離開她的工作崗位),除非接她班的人來(lái)了。

They should get off work at 5.30 pm rather than 10 pm, 12 pm or 3 am.

During peak hours when people go to work and get off work, the situation inside and outside the Station is congested.
