我歡喜你

I love you

你的聰明像一只鹿，

你的別的許多德性又像一匹羊;

我愿意來同羊溫存，

又耽心鹿因此受了虛驚：

故在你面前只得學(xué)成如此沉默，

(幾乎近于抑郁了的沉默!)

你怎么能知?

You have deer-like agility,

the innocence of a lamb–

I would play with the lamb

yet worry lest the deer take fright;

I have thus learnt to be silent

(almost melancholy!)

so how could you know?
