The Canvas Project is a project created by Brazilian artist Gabriel Nardelli Araújo. The 28-year-old 'frees' well-known characters from classical paintings and puts them in the modern day context with the help of Photoshop.

28歲的巴西藝術(shù)家Gabriel Nardelli Araújo進(jìn)行了一次新的嘗試，將古典名畫用PS軟件處理后與現(xiàn)代背景相結(jié)合。

"I have been perceiving montages as new forms of appropriation of space and works of art. I feel like I leave an immaterial mark on that place. People who have had contact with my work and later visit the space or see the original picture can have a new vision about them."

“我一直認(rèn)為蒙太奇是空間和藝術(shù)作品的新形式，我覺得我為此留下了“無形的”標(biāo)記。那些接觸過我作品，后又去欣賞原畫的人，會(huì)感受到不同的視野和欣賞角度。”
