The Canvas Project is a project created by Brazilian artist Gabriel Nardelli Araújo. The 28-year-old 'frees' well-known characters from classical paintings and puts them in the modern day context with the help of Photoshop.

28歲的巴西藝術(shù)家Gabriel Nardelli Araújo進行了一次新的嘗試，將古典名畫用PS軟件處理后與現(xiàn)代背景相結(jié)合。

"I have been perceiving montages as new forms of appropriation of space and works of art. I feel like I leave an immaterial mark on that place. People who have had contact with my work and later visit the space or see the original picture can have a new vision about them."

“我一直認為蒙太奇是空間和藝術(shù)作品的新形式，我覺得我為此留下了“無形的”標記。那些接觸過我作品，后又去欣賞原畫的人，會感受到不同的視野和欣賞角度。”
