Ask for leave

Leave在這里不是“離開”，而是“休假“的意思。這個詞組的用法比較靈活。

你可以說：I have to ask for leave tomorrow morning.

我明天上午得請假了。

如果請假不止一天，還可以說ask for 2 days' leave 請兩天的假。

Take off
