段落功能與意義的再現(xiàn)（5）

　　(16)杭州市屬七個(gè)縣境內(nèi)，北有超山，西有天目山，溯錢塘江而上，有富陽(yáng)鶴山，桐廬瑤琳仙境、桐君山和嚴(yán)子陵釣臺(tái)，建德靈棲三洞，新安江“千島湖”等名勝，形成一個(gè)以西湖為中心的廣闊旅游區(qū)。

　　The beauty spots in the seven nearby counties form a vast area for tourists with West Lake at its center. To the north of Hangzhou stands the Chao Hill, and to the west Mt. Tianmu. Coming up to the Qiantang River one finds oneself at Stork Hill in Fuyang County. Nearby in Tonglu County are the Yaolin Wonderland, the Tongjun Hill and the Terrace where Yan Ziling, a hermit of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-200), loved to go angling by the Fuchun River. Jiande County boasts of the three Linqi Caves and the Thousand-Islet Lake at the source of the Xin'anjiang River.

　　原文段落包含總分結(jié)構(gòu)，先分別描述西湖周圍的旅游資源，后提出段落主題“形成一個(gè)以西湖為中心的廣闊旅游區(qū)”。譯文卻將原為結(jié)尾部分提前，將“The beauty spots in the seven nearby counties form a vast area for tourists with West Lake at its center”置于段落開(kāi)頭，也就是把先分提、后總結(jié)的典型的漢語(yǔ)段落結(jié)構(gòu)改成符合英文行文習(xí)慣的先總起、后分說(shuō)的段落結(jié)構(gòu)，突出主題句，使讀者對(duì)段落的信息內(nèi)容一目了然，從而取得與原文信息功能相似的效果。
