【詞義辨析】

danger, risk, hazard, menace, peril, threat

這些名詞均含有“危險、威脅”之意。

danger含義廣，普通用詞，指能夠造成傷害、損害或不利的任何情況。

risk指有可能發(fā)生的危險，尤指主動進(jìn)行某種活動或去碰運氣而冒的危險。

hazard比risk正式，多指偶然發(fā)生的或無法控制的危險，常含較嚴(yán)重或有一定風(fēng)險的意味。

menace所指的危險性最嚴(yán)重，表示使用暴力或造成破壞性的可能。

peril指迫在眉睫很有可能發(fā)生的嚴(yán)重危險。
