Most of us eat way too quickly.And that may be one reason why we eat too much-because our stomachs need time to realize they're full.What's more,research shows that food eaten quickly may be more readily stored as fat.

Chew your food slowly, as much as a dozen chews per mouthful. Put your fork or spoon down bettween bites. Take a break halfway through the meal.Punctuate your meal with pleasant conversation with a companion. Play with your food. Do whatever it takes to make your meal last.
