Let's get it straight.
咱們得把事情弄清楚。
get it straight 直譯過來就是：“把它弄直理順”，很容易聯(lián)想到這個(gè)短語的引申意思：“把事情弄清楚”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說"Let's get it straight."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"Let's make it clear."、"Let's make certain of the fact."、"Let's find out the truth."。
