The high cost seems to be a fly in the ointment.

美中不足的是成本過(guò)高。

a fly in the ointment 字面意思是：“軟骨里的蒼蠅”，這個(gè)習(xí)語(yǔ)出自《圣經(jīng)·傳道書(shū)》，“死蒼蠅會(huì)讓香甜的軟骨變質(zhì)，同樣，一件小小的蠢事也會(huì)令智慧失色。”現(xiàn)在，人們用這個(gè)習(xí)語(yǔ)來(lái)表示：“美中不足之處，煞風(fēng)景的事情，令人掃興的小事”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"The high cost seems to be a fly in the ointment."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"I'm only unsatisfied with the high cost."、"It's perfect except the cost."。
