I am an art student and I paint a lot of pictures.Many people pretend that they understand modernart. They always tell you what a picture is ‘about'. Ofcourse, many pictures are not 'about' anything. Theyarejust pretty patterns. We like them in the sameway that we like pretty curtain material. I think thatyoung children often appreciate modern picturesbetter than anyone else. They notice more. My sisteris only seven, but she always tells me whether my pictures are good or not. She came intomyroom yesterday.'What are you doing?' she asked.‘I'm hanging this picture on the wall,'I answered. ‘It's a new one. Do you likeit?'She looked at it critically for a moment. 'It's allright,' she said, 'but isn't it upside down?'I looked at it again. She was right! It was!

昨天她到我的房里來了。

語言點 come into意為“進入;得到;繼承;取得”：

John came into a fortune when his father died.

約翰在父親去世后，繼承了一大筆財產。

The mountain town came into sight when we turned the last comer.

我們拐過最后一個彎，山城就映入了我們的眼簾。

12、I’m hanging this picture on the wall,，I answered.

“我正準備把這幅畫掛到墻上去。”我說。

語言點 hang on不同于hang sth. on somewhere.前者的意思是“抓住;專注;堅持，不掛斷”，后者 意思是“把……掛……上”。

Hang on a second. I’m just coming.稍等一下，我馬上就來。

The boy hangs on his teacher’s every word.這個小男孩專心聽老師講的每句話。
