課文內(nèi)容：

My daughter, Jane, never dreamed of receiving aletter from a girl of her own age in Holland. Last year,we were traveling across the Channel and Jane put apiece of paper with her name and address on it intoa bottle. She threw the bottle into the sea. Shenever thought of it again, but ten months later,she received a letter from a girl in Holland. Bothgirls write to each other regularly now.However, they have decided to use the post office. Letters will cost a little more, but theywill certainly travel faster.

她再沒去想那只瓶子，但10個月后，她收到了一位荷蘭女孩的來信。

語言點1 never為頻率副詞，用在實義動詞之前。

語言點2 think of = think about考慮

5、Both girls write to each other regularly now.

現(xiàn)在兩個女孩定期通信了。

語言點1 both意為“兩者都”，后面的名詞必須用復(fù)數(shù)。

語言點2 regularly意為“有規(guī)律地，定期地”，為頻率副詞。

此句還可變?yōu)椋築oth girls regularly write to each other now.

6、However, they have decided to use the post office.

然而她們還是決定利用郵局。

語言點1 however然而，表示輕微轉(zhuǎn)折。

語言點2 decide to do決定做某事。
