Lesson20 One man in a boat

課文內(nèi)容：

Fishing is my favourite sport. I often fish for hourswithout catching anything. But this does not worryme. Some fishermen are unlucky. Instead of catchingfish, they catch old boots and rubbish. I am evenless lucky. I never catch anything-not even oldboots. After having spent whole mornings on theriver, I always go home with an empty bag. ‘Youmust give up fishing!' my friends say.‘It's a wasteof time.' But they don't realize one important thing. I'm not really interested in fishing.I am only interested in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all !

10.‘It's a waste of time.'

“那簡(jiǎn)直就是在浪費(fèi)時(shí)間。”

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn) it is句型，意思是“它是……”。

It’s a book of mine = It’s my book.它是我的書(shū)。

11.But they don't realize one important thing.

但是他們沒(méi)有意識(shí)到重要的一點(diǎn)。

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn) don’t realize意為“沒(méi)有意識(shí)到”，即“忽略”，相當(dāng)于ignore / neglect

原句可改為：But they ignore one important thing.

我并不是真的對(duì)釣魚(yú)有興趣。

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn) “對(duì)……感興趣，喜歡”的表達(dá)：like; love;favor;relish;be fond of; be keen on;beinterested in;be crazy about;devote oneself to

我感興趣的只是獨(dú)坐孤舟，無(wú)所事事的感覺(jué)!

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)1 注意be interested in后加動(dòng)名詞、名詞的用法：

He is interested in watching American movies now. 他現(xiàn)在對(duì)看美國(guó)電影很感興趣。

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)2 doing nothing“什么事都不做”，補(bǔ)充學(xué)習(xí)兩個(gè)句子：

You are something. 你真了不起!(錯(cuò)誤翻譯：你什么都是!)

You are nothing. 你真沒(méi)用!
