課文內(nèi)容：
Joe Sanders has the most beautiful garden inour town. Nearly everybody enters for ‘TheNicest Garden Competition' each year, but Joewins every time. Bill Frith's garden is larger thanJoe's. Bill works harder than Joe and grows moreflowers and vegetables, but Joe's garden is moreinteresting. He has made neat paths and has built awooden bridge over a pool. I like gardens too, but Ido not like hard work. Every year I enter for the garden competition too, and I always win alittle prize for the worst garden in the town!
本文語法：形容詞、副詞的比較級和最高級
語法歸納：兩者之間作比較，三者以上有最高。
比較級和最高級的變化規(guī)則為
1)大多數(shù)情況下，直接在形容詞或副詞后加-er或-est;
2)以不發(fā)音字母e結(jié)尾的詞，加-r或-st;
3)以輔音+y結(jié)尾的形容詞，把y變i再加-er或-est;
4)以一個輔音字母結(jié)尾的重讀閉音節(jié)、單音節(jié)詞，將該輔音字母雙寫，再在詞尾加-er或-est;
5)三個音節(jié)或以上的多音節(jié)詞，以及部分以后綴-ly結(jié)尾的雙音節(jié)副詞在前面加more形成比較級，加most形成最高級;
6)不規(guī)則變化(需獨立記憶)：
far--farther/further--farthest/furthest
few/little--less--least
bad/ill--worse--worst
7)表最高級的常用格式：
定冠詞the+最高級+表示范圍的短語或從句

喬.桑德斯擁有我們鎮(zhèn)上最漂亮的花園。
語言點 most為最高級標(biāo)志，而than為比較級的標(biāo)志。
better than(比較級) more than(比較級)
best/most+in somewhere(最高級) best/most+of all...(表范圍)(最高級)
2.Nearly everybody enters for ‘The Nicest Garden Competition' each year。
我們鎮(zhèn)上幾乎所有的人每年都報名參加“最漂亮的花園”比賽。
語言點1 nearly everybody=almost everybody,但后者包括的范圍更廣。
語言點2 關(guān)于“參賽”的表達(dá)：enter for參加(報名) take part in參加(參與)
join/join in參加(加入) attend出席，參加(主動去)
語言點3 復(fù)合不定代詞作主語時要看做單數(shù)形式：
1)everyone, everybody, everyhing;
2)someone, somebody, something;
3)anyone, anybody, anything;
4)nobody, nothing, no one;
5)each one, each person;
Nobody wants to talk to him.沒有人想和他說話。

但是喬每次都拿冠軍。
語言點 深入總結(jié)win的用法：
1)win+sth.贏得某物
2)win不可加sb.(對手)，贏了某人、打敗某人的表達(dá)為：beat sb.或defeat sb.：
They were defeated in the basketball match.他們在籃球比賽中輸了。
