"No!" I shrieked a few octaves higher. I turned to my dresser, and Edward was already there,silently yanking out armfuls of random clothes, which he proceeded to throw to me.
“沒(méi)有!”我的聲音又升了幾個(gè)八度，尖叫道。我轉(zhuǎn)身朝著衣柜，愛(ài)德華已經(jīng)在那里了，正沉默地把亂七八糟的衣物抱出來(lái)，然后拋給我。
"Did he break up with you?" Charlie was perplexed.
“他和你分手了?”查理有些不知所措。
"No!" I yelled, slightly more breathless as I shoved everything into the bag. Edward threwanother drawer's contents at me. The bag was pretty much full now.
“沒(méi)有!”我大叫道，稍微有些氣喘吁吁，因?yàn)槲艺阉袞|西都塞進(jìn)雙肩包里。愛(ài)德華把另一口衣櫥里的東西扔給我?，F(xiàn)在這只雙肩包已經(jīng)很滿(mǎn)了。
"What happened, Bella?" Charlie shouted through the door, pounding again.
“發(fā)生了什么事，貝拉?”查理從門(mén)外喊道，又開(kāi)始砸門(mén)了。
"I broke up with him!" I shouted back, jerking on the zipper of my bag. Edward's capablehands pushed mine away and zipped it smoothly. He put the strap carefully over my arm.
“我甩了他!”我嚷嚷回去，努力對(duì)付著書(shū)包上的拉鎖。愛(ài)德華萬(wàn)能的雙手撥開(kāi)了我的手，不費(fèi)吹灰之力把它拉上了。他仔細(xì)地讓我的胳膊挎上背帶。
"I'll be in the truck go!" he whispered, and pushed me toward the door. He vanished out thewindow.
“我會(huì)在卡車(chē)?yán)锏饶阕?”他耳語(yǔ)道，把我推向門(mén)，然后消失在了窗外。
I unlocked the door and pushed past Charlie roughly, struggling with my heavy bag as I randown the stairs.
我打開(kāi)門(mén)，粗魯?shù)赝崎_(kāi)查理擠過(guò)去，一面與沉重的書(shū)包做斗爭(zhēng)，一面跑下樓梯。
"What happened?" he yelled. He was right behind me. "I thought you liked him."
“發(fā)生了什么事?”他緊跟在我身后，大喊道。“我還以為你喜歡他。”
He caught my elbow in the kitchen. Though he was still bewildered, his grip was firm.
他在廚房里抓住了我的手肘。他依然很困惑，但他握得很緊。
He spun me around to look at him, and I could see in his face that he had no intention ofletting me leave.
他看我轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)身來(lái)看著他，我能從他臉上看出來(lái)，他一點(diǎn)兒也不想讓我離開(kāi)。
I could think of only one way to escape, and it involved hurting him so much that I hatedmyself for even considering it.

But I had no time, and I had to keep him safe.
