"I can do this." I sniffled. My tears had given me an inspiration.
“我能做到的。”我用鼻音答道。淚水啟發(fā)了我的靈感。
I stopped on the porch and took hold of his face in my hands. I looked fiercely into his eyes.
我停在了門廊里，用雙手捧起他的臉。我狠狠地看著他的眼睛。
"I love you," I said in a low, intense voice. "I will always love you, no matter what happensnow."
“我愛你。”我緊張地低聲說道。“不管現(xiàn)在正發(fā)生著什么樣的事，我都會一直愛著你。”
"Nothing is going to happen to you, Bella," he said just as fiercely.
“你不會有事的，貝拉。”他說道，同樣狠狠地看著我
"Just follow the plan, okay? Keep Charlie safe for me. He's not going to like me very muchafter this, and I want to have the chance to apologize later."
“一定要按計劃行事，好嗎?為了我，保護好查理。在這件事以后，他不會很喜歡我的，我希望稍后還有能有機會向他道歉。”
"Get inside, Bella. We have to hurry." His voice was urgent.
“進去，貝拉，我們得趕時間。”他的聲音很緊迫。
"One more thing," I whispered passionately. "Don't listen to another word I say tonight!"
“還有一件事。”我激動地低聲說道。“不管今晚我再說什么，不要聽!”
He was leaning in, and so all I had to do was stretch up on my toes to kiss his surprised,frozen lips with as much force as I was capable of.
他側下身來，所以我只需踮起腳尖，傾盡全力親吻他吃驚得僵住了的唇。
Then I turned and kicked the door open.
然后我轉過身去，踹開門。
"Go away, Edward!" I yelled at him, running inside and slamming the door shut in his still-shocked face.
“走開，愛德華!”我沖他嚷嚷著，跑進屋里，用力砸上門，把他依然震驚的臉關在了門外。
"Bella?" Charlie had been hovering in the living room, and he was already on his feet.
“貝拉?”查理已在起居室里徘徊多時了，他立刻站起身來。
"Leave me alone!" I screamed at him through my tears, which were flowing relentlessly now.
“不要管我!”我淚流滿面，沖他尖叫道。
I ran up the stairs to my room, throwing the door shut and locking it.
我的淚水不停地流淌著。我奔上樓梯沖回房里，重重撞上門，落上鎖。
I ran to my bed, flinging myself on the floor to retrieve my duffel bag.
我沖到床邊，爬到地板上找到我的露營雙肩包。
I reached swiftly between the mattress and box spring to grab the knotted old sock thatcontained my secret cash hoard.
我飛快地伸出手，在床墊和盒子之間扒拉著，抓起了那只用來存放我的私房錢的打了結的舊襪子。
Charlie was pounding on my door.
查理用力地敲著我的門。
"Bella, are you okay? What's going on?" His voice was frightened.
“貝拉，你沒事吧?發(fā)生了什么事?”他的聲音顯然是嚇壞了。
"I'm going borne," I shouted, my voice breaking in the perfect spot.
“我能承受。”我大喊著，我的聲音嘶啞得恰到好處。
"Did he hurt you?" His tone edged toward anger.
“他欺負你了?”他的語氣逐漸轉為憤怒。
