水利部將利用2年至3年時間全面建立起節(jié)水標準定額體系。根據(jù)水利部計劃，節(jié)水標準定額體系由105項節(jié)約用水定額、29項節(jié)水技術規(guī)范、4項節(jié)水載體評價標準和9項產(chǎn)品水效標準組成。

The Ministry of Water Resources will establish a system of standard quotas for water usage in the next two to three years to better conserve water. According to the ministry, the water conservation standard quota system will consist of 105 water conservation quotas, 29 water conservation technological codes, 4 water conservation carrier evaluation standards and 9 product water efficiency standards.

2019年4月15日，國家發(fā)展改革委、水利部聯(lián)合印發(fā)《國家節(jié)水行動方案》。《方案》貫徹落實習近平新時代中國特色社會主義思想的重要實踐，是黨的十九大的戰(zhàn)略部署，是今后一段時間我國節(jié)水工作開展的主要依據(jù)。為逐步提高各領域、各行業(yè)用水效率，提升全民節(jié)水意識，基于我國國情水情和地區(qū)差異，《方案》明確提出近遠期有機銜接的總體控制目標，到2020年，節(jié)水政策法規(guī)、市場機制、標準體系趨于完善，萬元國內(nèi)生產(chǎn)總值用水量、萬元工業(yè)增加值用水量較2015年分別降低23%和20%，規(guī)模以上工業(yè)用水重復利用率達到91%以上，節(jié)水效果初步顯現(xiàn);到2022年，全國用水總量控制在6700億立方米以內(nèi)，節(jié)水型生產(chǎn)和生活方式初步建立;到2035年，全國用水總量控制在7000億立方米以內(nèi)，水資源節(jié)約和循環(huán)利用達到世界先進水平。
