內(nèi)馬爾因傷“缺席剩余比賽”

　　上文中的rule him out for the rest of the tournament即“使他無法參加世界杯剩余的比賽”，這里的rule out表示不參加比賽并非他個人所愿，而是被迫的，rule out指“將…排除”，如，The regulations rule out anyone under the age of eighteen.(按規(guī)定，18歲以下的人都不能參加。)巴西隊隊長席爾瓦也因為在這場比賽中收到第二張黃牌而將無法參加下一場對陣德國的半決賽，his second yellow card ruled him out for the semi-final match against Germany.總之，內(nèi)馬爾和席爾瓦都將“無法參加比賽”(stay off the field/sit out the match)。
