“潛逃疑犯”英文怎么說

在公安機(jī)關(guān)的長期努力下，潛逃加拿大近八年的重大經(jīng)濟(jì)犯罪嫌疑人高山已于近期從加拿大回國投案自首。

隨著中國官方不斷加大力度追蹤潛逃犯罪嫌疑人，一名潛逃在外七年有余的嫌犯于近日向警方自首。

Fugitive suspect就是指“潛逃疑犯”，a fugitive is someone who is running away or hiding, usually in order to avoid being caught by the police(fugitive就是躲避警方抓捕的“逃犯”)，而suspect則指涉嫌犯下某個(gè)罪行的“嫌疑人”。如果說某個(gè)犯罪嫌疑人“在逃”就可以用at large來表示，比如：the suspect is still at large(那個(gè)嫌犯仍然在逃)。

Turn oneself in就是“自首”，如果是被抓的嫌疑人將別人“供出來”則可以用give away來表示，如：He gave away the name of the chief culprit. (他供出了主犯的名字。)
