過去分詞的句法作用

1.作定語

（1）不及物動(dòng)詞的過去分詞表示完成意義。

There was a returned soldier on the road.路上有位歸來的戰(zhàn)士。

He is a retired officer.他是個(gè)退役軍官。

（2）及物動(dòng)詞的過去分詞表示被動(dòng)意義。

The ground is covered with the fallen leaves.地上覆蓋著落葉。

Dr Wang is operating on the injured man.王醫(yī)生正在給傷員做手術(shù)。

2.作表語

I felt exhausted this morning.我今天早晨覺得精疲力竭。

When did you become acquainted with him？ 你何時(shí)認(rèn)識(shí)他的？

過去分詞做形容詞表示“感到……”之意

be amazed （at）感到驚異　　　　　　　　be amused （at）感到好笑

be annoyed （at）感到煩惱　　　　　　　 be bored （with）感到厭煩

be convinced （of）感到信服　　　　　　 be disappointed （at）感到失望

be discouraged （in）感到沮喪　　　　　 be embarrassed （in）感到為難

be encouraged （in）感到鼓舞　　　　　　be excited （at）感到激動(dòng)

be frightened （of）感到害怕　　　　　　be horrified （with）感到恐懼

be moved （at）深為感動(dòng)　　　　　　　　 be pleased （about）感到愉悅

be puzzled （about）感到困惑　　　　　　be satisfied （with）感到滿意

be shocked （about）感到震驚　　　　　　be surprised （at）感到驚奇

be tired （of）感到厭煩

【提示】

①現(xiàn)在分詞作表語，意為“令人……，使人……”，主動(dòng)意味。

Our trip was disappointing.我們的這次旅行讓人失望。

②過去分詞作表語，意為“感到……”，被動(dòng)意味。

We were disappointed at our trip.我們對(duì)這次旅行感到失望。

3.作賓語補(bǔ)足語

（1）過去分詞作賓補(bǔ)與賓語之間是動(dòng)賓關(guān)系。

I heard the song sung in English.我聽到有人用英語唱過這首歌。

He found his hometown greatly changed.他發(fā)現(xiàn)他的家鄉(xiāng)變化很大。

（2）have sth.done表示“讓某人做某事”或“經(jīng)歷或遭遇某情況”。

I’ll have my hair cut tomorrow.明天我要理發(fā)。

He got his tooth pulled out yesterday.他昨天把牙拔了。

He had his money stolen.他的錢被別人偷了。

He had his leg broken.他的腿斷了。

（3）make oneself done意為“使某人自己被……”

Her nobility of character made herself much admired.她的高尚品格令人欽佩。

She had to shout to make herself heard.她必須大聲喊才能讓人聽見她說話。

4.作狀語

Seen from the moon，the earth looks green.從月亮上看時(shí)，地球是綠色的。（時(shí)間狀語）

Satisfied with what he did，the teacher praised him in class.

老師很滿意他的所做所為，所以在班上表揚(yáng)了他。（原因狀語）

Given more time，we could have done it better.

如果多給點(diǎn)時(shí)間，我們會(huì)做得更好。（條件狀語）

Wounded，the soldier continued to fight.雖然受傷了，戰(zhàn)士仍繼續(xù)作戰(zhàn)。（讓步狀語）

He stole away unnoticed.沒人注意到他溜走了。（伴隨狀語）

The cup fell down to the ground，broken.茶杯掉到了地上，破碎了。（結(jié)果狀語）
