三、一般將來時

1.基本用法

（1）表示將來的動作或狀態(tài)。

Tom will be five years old in a few days.湯姆過幾天就五歲了。

You will get wet if you go out without an umbrella.如果出門不帶傘，你會淋濕。

（2）用于“祈使句+and/or+陳述句”句式中。

Work hard，and you will pass the exam.努力學(xué)習(xí)，你就會通過考試。

Come early，and you will see the film star.早點來，你就可以看到這位電影明星。

Be quiet，or he will hear us.安靜，不然他會聽見我們的。

2.一般將來時的時間狀語

（1）tomorrow 明天 tomorrow morning/afternoon/evening 明天上午/下午/晚上

　　 the day after tomorrow 后天

（2）next week 下周 next month 下月 next year 明年

　　 next term 下學(xué)期 next time 下次

（3）in an hour 一小時之后 in a day or two 一兩天后

　　 in a week 一周后 in two years 兩年后

（4）in the future 今后 soon 不久 before long 不久

　　 from now on 從現(xiàn)在開始

3.一般將來時的表達(dá)形式

（1）will/shall do ...，意為“將要做某事”

I’ll （shall/will）do a better job next time.下次我要干得更好些。

We shall have a lot of rain next month.下個月將會下很多雨。

（2）be going to do ...，意為“打算做某事，將要發(fā)生某事”

My brother is going to learn English next year.我哥哥準(zhǔn)備明年學(xué)英語。

He is going to stay a week.他準(zhǔn)備呆一個星期。

（3）be+to do ...，意為“打算，計劃做某事”。

You are to be back by 10 o’clock.你必須10點前回來。

We are to meet at the school gate.我們約定在校門口碰頭。

（4）be about to do ...，意為“剛要，即將做某事”

The plane is about to take off.飛機就要起飛了。

The meeting is about to start now.會議即將開始。

【提示】 be+about to do 結(jié)構(gòu)中不能接時間狀語。

（5）現(xiàn)在進行時代替一般將來時。

We are leaving for shanghai tomorrow.我們明天動身去上海。

Are you meeting Bill this evening？ 你今晚將和比爾見面嗎？

（6）be due to do ...意為“按計劃或時間表將要發(fā)生某事”

The guests are due to arrive here next week.客人們預(yù)計下周到此。

The meeting isn’t due to start until four.會議預(yù)定要到四點才召開。

The strike is due to begin on Tuesday.罷工預(yù)定于星期二開始。
