二、一般過去時(shí)

1.基本語法

（1）表示過去某時(shí)所發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的狀態(tài)。

Liu Ying was in America last year.劉英去年在美國(guó)。

Jim rang you just now.吉姆剛才給你打了電話。

（2）表示過去經(jīng)常或反復(fù)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作。

We often went out for a walk after supper.我們過去常在晚飯后散步。

We usually played together.我們通常一起玩。

（3）常用于“ it is+一段時(shí)間+since sb.did ...”句型中。

You haven’t changed much since we last met.自從上次我們見面以來，你變化不大。

It’s three years since he went abroad.他出國(guó)三年了。

It’s a long time since he was ill.他病很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間了。

I haven’t found any job since I was out of work.自我失業(yè)以來，我一直沒有找到工作。

2.一般過去時(shí)常用的時(shí)間狀語

（1）yesterday 昨天　　　　　　　yesterday afternoon 昨天下午

　　 this morning 今天早上　　　 the day before yesterday 前天

（2）last year 去年　　　　　　　last month 上月

　　 last week 上星期　　　　　　last night 昨晚

　　 last Sunday 上星期日　　　　last term 上學(xué)期

（3）two days ago 兩天前　　　 　a week ago 一星期前

　　 many years ago 很久以前　　 an hour ago 一小時(shí)前

（4）in the past 在過去　　　　　in the old days 在過去的日子里

（5）When I was 5 years old ...當(dāng)我5歲的時(shí)候……

　　 at the age of 5 五歲時(shí)

（6）at that time 當(dāng)時(shí)　　　　　　at that moment 在那時(shí)
