二、按詞匯意義分類

1.延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞

（1）延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞可與“for+時(shí)間段，since+時(shí)間點(diǎn)”狀語連用。

drink 喝　　eat 吃　　　　fly 飛　　　　have 有　　　keep 保持　　know 知道

lie 躺著　　live 住　　 　play 玩　 　　rain 下雨　　read 讀　　　run 跑

sing 唱　　 sleep 睡覺　　smoke 抽煙　　snow 下雪　　stand 站　　 talk 說

wait 等　　 walk 走　　　 wear 穿　　　 work 工作

We have known each other since childhood.自孩提時(shí)代我們就認(rèn)識(shí)。

I have been living here for years.我在這里住了多年了。

Usually on Sunday I sleep until 11 a.m.星期天我通常睡到上午十一點(diǎn)鐘才起床。

（2）延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞要表示一時(shí)的動(dòng)作，可以在該動(dòng)詞前加get/begin/come to等。

It was not until I failed again that I got to realize my fault.

直到我再一次失敗，我才開始認(rèn)識(shí)到我的過失。

They began to see that they had made a serious mistake.

他們開始認(rèn)識(shí)到自己犯了一個(gè)大錯(cuò)。

2.非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞

（1）非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞不能跟表示“一段時(shí)間“的狀語連用。

3.不用進(jìn)行時(shí)的動(dòng)詞

（1）表示事實(shí)狀態(tài)的動(dòng)詞

belong 屬于　　consist of 由……所組成　　contain 包含　　　depend on 依靠

exist 存在　　 have 有　　　　　　　　　hold 持有，保持　 lie 位于

need 需要　　　own 擁有　　　　　　　　 possess 擁有　　　remain 停留

result 導(dǎo)致　　resemble 像　　　　　　　stand 位于　　　　want 缺乏

I have two brothers.我有兩兄弟。（have 有，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

He’s having a meeting.他正在開會(huì).（have 進(jìn)行，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

This house belongs to my sister.這房子是我姐的。（belong 屬于，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

The house belonging to Mary is beautiful.瑪麗的房子很漂亮。（belonging 是引導(dǎo)現(xiàn)在分詞短語作定語，不是進(jìn)行時(shí)）

The school stands about four miles to the west of that city.

這所學(xué)校位于那座城市西面大約4英里處。（stand 位于，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

She is standing by the door.她倚門而立。（stand 站立，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

She is lying in bed with a severe cold.她因重感冒躺在床上。（lie 躺，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

The town lay in ruins after a heavy bombardment.（lie 處于，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

在猛烈轟炸以后城鎮(zhèn)成了一片廢墟。

（2）感官連系動(dòng)詞

This milk tastes sour.牛奶（嘗起來）酸了。（taste 嘗起來，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

Mary is tasting the sauce.瑪麗在品嘗調(diào)味品。（taste 品嘗，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

These flowers smell good.這些花聞起來很香。（smell 聞起來，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

The dog was smelling at the shoes.那只狗正在嗅那雙鞋子。（smell 聞，嗅，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

Your hand feels cold.你的手（摸著）很涼。（feel 感覺起來，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

What was the blind man feeling for？ 那位盲人在摸索著找什么？（feel 撫摸，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

（3）表示結(jié)果的動(dòng)詞

（4）表心理活動(dòng)情感狀態(tài)的動(dòng)詞

agree 同意　　　believe 相信　　　care 在意　　　dare 敢

desire 想要　　 dislike不喜歡　　 despise 輕視　 forgive 寬恕

（5）動(dòng)作為一時(shí)性動(dòng)詞

（6）表衡量的動(dòng)詞

I weighed 68 kilos three months ago.三個(gè)月前我重68公斤。（weigh“重達(dá)”，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

I was weighing myself this morning when he came in.

今天早上他進(jìn)來的時(shí)候，我正在稱體重。（weigh“稱重”，可用進(jìn)行時(shí)）

The room measures 25 feet across.這個(gè)房間寬25英尺。（measure“尺寸為”，無進(jìn)行時(shí)）

They were measuring the depth of snow drifts.
