醫(yī)務(wù)英語會(huì)話：肺結(jié)核

Patient： I have had a cough for about two years. I paid no attention to it because I thought it was from smoking. Two weeks ago I caught a cold. Since then I have felt very weak and feverish. My temperature is always a little higher in the afternoon.

病人： 我已經(jīng)咳嗽兩年了。我沒有重視它而認(rèn)為是和吸煙有關(guān)。兩周前我得了一次感冒，從此以后我感到疲乏無力而且有發(fā)熱感。我的提問在下午總是高一些。

Doctor： When you cough do you bring up any phlegm?

醫(yī)生： 你的咳嗽帶痰嗎?

Patient： Just a small amount, usually whitish. Occasionally I noticed some blood. This worried me .so I came to consult you.

病人： 只有少量白痰。偶爾我發(fā)現(xiàn)有少量血。這使我害怕了，所以我來找你。

Doctor： Blood in the sputum strongly indicates tuberculosis. We must take a chest X-ray.

醫(yī)生： 痰中帶血表明很可能是結(jié)核病。我認(rèn)為需要照一張胸片。

Doctor： The X-ray suggests the likelihood of tuberculosis.

醫(yī)生： 胸片提示可能是結(jié)核。

Patient： Is it serious? Can I be cured?

病人： 病情嚴(yán)重嗎?能治好嗎?

Doctor： Don't worry. Nowadays, even those advanced cases with proper treatment can be cured within six months. Drug treatment should be continued for two years, however.

醫(yī)生： 不必焦慮。目前即使是重癥肺結(jié)核，在正確治療下，半年內(nèi)也可以恢復(fù)健康。當(dāng)然藥物治療應(yīng)持續(xù)兩年。

Doctor： Please send a fresh specimen of your sputum for testing. I'll prescribe rimifon 0.1g three times a day and injections of streptomycin 1gm once a day. By the way, you need also a good rest and good food.

醫(yī)生： 請(qǐng)你送一個(gè)新鮮的痰標(biāo)本來作檢查。我給你開藥。雷米封0.1克一天3次，鏈霉素注射1克一天1次。另外，你需要徹底休息和好的營養(yǎng)。

Patient： When should I return?

病人： 我什么時(shí)候來復(fù)診?

Doctor： In about two months.

醫(yī)生： 兩個(gè)月以后。
