Jennifer Rush于1984寫下了這首“The power of love”愛的力量，并親自演唱，在這之后的1985年，Air Supply翻唱了這首歌，1986年初，Jennifer Rush的原唱版本正式登陸，1987年，美國當(dāng)紅女歌手 Laura Branigan(羅拉 布蘭尼根) 再次翻唱，1994年，聲譽日隆的新天后 Celine Dion(席琳迪翁) 再次灌錄這首曲子，而且把它唱上了四周冠軍寶座，美國告示排行榜的冠軍曲。

Celine的肺活量在此歌中得到了充分體現(xiàn)，她富有張力的聲音如春雷般震顫人耳，比起Air Supply樂隊的男性主唱希區(qū)柯克，celine的聲音顯得更自如。此歌因此成為經(jīng)典曲目，深深打上了celine的烙印,并在billboard排行榜上蟬聯(lián)4周NO.1。而其表現(xiàn)的“愛的力量”亦感天動地，最經(jīng)典的一句是“cause I’m your lady, and you are my man."
