　　火鍋中，重慶火鍋(hotpot)最著名，也最受歡迎。重慶人認為以麻辣 (peppery and hot)著稱的火鍋是當?shù)靥厣?。人們喜歡圍在用木炭(charcoal)、 電熱或天然氣加熱的火鍋旁邊吃邊聊美味和有營養(yǎng)的食物。人們可以選擇辣湯、清湯以及鴛鴦(combo)鍋底，再將肉片、魚片、各種豆腐產(chǎn)品和蔬菜加進火鍋，之后蘸上特制醬料即可食用。在寒冷的冬天里，吃火鍋成為一件愜意十足的事情。

　　1.以…著稱:可譯為be noted for。noted作形容詞，表示“著名的，顯著的”，同樣的搭配還有be noted as,表示“作為…而著名”。兩個詞組有區(qū)別，使用時需要注意。

　　2.當?shù)靥厣?可譯為local specialty。specialty可以表示“特產(chǎn)，招牌菜”。

　　3.選擇:可譯為have a choice of,表示“有…選擇”。也可以用動詞choose。

　　4.醬料:可譯為sauce。

　　5.愜意十足的:即“令人愉悅的”,譯為delightful或pleasing。
