General Information 基本概況

Dalign Information Maritime University(DMU)is one of the largest and best
maritime universities. It is a key maritime institution under the Ministry of
Communications. DMU's high international reputation as an excellent center of
maritime education and training has been recognized by the International
Maritime Organization(IMO ).

大連海事大學(xué)(原大連海運(yùn)學(xué)院)是中國著名的高等航海學(xué)府，是交通部所屬的全國重點(diǎn)大學(xué)，是被國際海事組織認(rèn)定的世界!幾少數(shù)兒所“享有國際盛譽(yù)”的海事院校之一。

The long history of the University can be traced back to 1909，when the
Nanyang Institute in Shanghai established a Shipping Management Section. to
1960，DMU was designated a national key institution of higher education. Later in
1983，the Asia-Pacific Region Maritime Training Center was established at DMU by
the United Nations Development Program(UNDP) and the IMO，and in 1985，a branch of the World Maritime University(WMU)was established. In 1998，the University was awarded the IS09001 Certificate of Quality Assurance accredited by the Norwegian Det Norske Veritas(DNV)and the China Maritime Safety Administration (MSA );it became the first maritime university in China to have the IS09001 Certificate.On August 22nd and October 20th in 1993，the Chinese Government leaders inspected DMU.

大連海事大學(xué)歷史悠久，其前身可追溯到1909年晚清郵傳部上海高等實(shí)業(yè)學(xué)堂(南洋公學(xué))船政科。1960年，大連海運(yùn)學(xué)院被確定為全國重點(diǎn)大學(xué);1983年，聯(lián)合國開發(fā)計(jì)劃署(UNDP)和國際海事組織(IMO)在學(xué)校設(shè)立了亞太地區(qū)國際海事培訓(xùn)中心;1985年設(shè)立世界海事大學(xué)大連分校;1998年學(xué)校的質(zhì)量管理體系通過國家港務(wù)監(jiān)督局和挪威船級(jí)社(DNV)的認(rèn)證，成為我國第一所獲得ISO9001質(zhì)量管理體系認(rèn)證證書和DNV三個(gè)認(rèn)證規(guī)則證書的大學(xué);1993年8月22日和10月20日，多位國家領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人先后視察了大連海事大學(xué)。

DMU is located in southwestern Dalian which is a famous coastal city in
northeastern China with a population of six million.The University covers an
area of 1.13 million square meters with about half a million square meters
occupied by buildings. The University owns buildings for maritime sciences that
contain fully functional equipment and facilities. There are additional
buildings for maritime training and research，survival training，a swimming pool，a
planetarium and libraries.DMU has a training dock and over 40 laboratories for
teaching，training and research;there is a full mission ship-handling simulator
and an engine room simulator. DMU also owns and operates an ocean-going training
vessel of over 10 000 deadweight tonnage.

大連海事大學(xué)位于中國北方海濱名城大連市西南部。學(xué)校占地面積113萬平方米，校舍建筑面積53.2萬平方米。學(xué)校擁有設(shè)施和功能齊全的航海類專業(yè)教學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)樓群、航海訓(xùn)練與研究中心、水上求生訓(xùn)練館、教學(xué)港池、圖書館、游泳館、天像館等;擁有航海模擬實(shí)驗(yàn)室、輪機(jī)模擬實(shí)驗(yàn)室等40余個(gè)教學(xué)科研實(shí)驗(yàn)室，擁有一艘萬噸級(jí)遠(yuǎn)洋教學(xué)實(shí)習(xí)船。

The University consists of 13 colleges. Presently DMU has 42 undergraduat
programs，2 first-class doctoral programs，12 second-class doctoral programs，7
first-class master's degree programs and 59 second-class master's degree
programs. The University is authorized to confer MBA，MPA，J. M，and Master of
Engineering，an on-the-job master's degree. Transport Engineering first-class
discipline has a post-doctoral P&D base. Both the Traffic Information
Engineering and Control and Marine Engineering are national key disciplines.

大連海事大學(xué)設(shè)有13個(gè)學(xué)院，設(shè)有42個(gè)本科專業(yè)，擁有2個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科博士點(diǎn)、12個(gè)二級(jí)學(xué)科博士點(diǎn)、7個(gè)一級(jí)學(xué)科碩士點(diǎn)和59個(gè)二級(jí)學(xué)科碩士點(diǎn)，擁有工商管理碩士(MBA)、公共管理碩士(MPA )、法律碩士(J.M)專業(yè)學(xué)位授予權(quán)及工程碩士、高校教師在職攻讀碩士學(xué)位授予權(quán)。交通運(yùn)輸工程一級(jí)學(xué)科設(shè)有博士后);IL動(dòng)站。交通信息_l程及控制和輪機(jī)」二程為國家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科一。

The current student number has risen to approximately 17 000.Since the
amalgamation，DMU has educated and trained nearly 50 000 advanced professionals and technical authorities for the country. Many of them are now playing essential roles in maritime and maritime-related industries both in and outside of China.Additionally，our university enrolls overseas students for Bachelor's
and Master's Degrees and PhDs. More than 4 000 overseas students and advanced
professionals from over 30 countries and regions have been educated and trained
at DMU.

現(xiàn)有在校共學(xué)生7000余人。并校50余年來，學(xué)校為國家培養(yǎng)了各類高級(jí)專業(yè)技術(shù)人才近5萬名:托中大多數(shù)已成為我國及國際航運(yùn)事業(yè)的骨干力量。學(xué)校同時(shí)招收攻讀學(xué)士、碩士、博士學(xué)位的外國留學(xué)生。學(xué)校還為30多個(gè)國家和地區(qū)培養(yǎng)、培訓(xùn)留學(xué)生及各類高級(jí)專業(yè)技術(shù)人才4000余名。

DMU has a highly qualified faculty which is comprised of 192 professors，more
than 100 doctoral supervisors，5 first-class discipline leaders，42 second-class
discipline leaders，96 academic leaders and a large number of excellent young
faculty staff members. The team of young specialists and professors is well
equipped in profound theoretical knowledge and capable of extensive research in
the fields of marine traffic engineering，maritime information
engineering，artificial intelligence application onboard vessels，ship power
systems and energy-saving technology，marine engine repairing，communication and
information systems，marine environmental protection，and maritime law.

大連海事大學(xué)擁有一支整體素質(zhì)好、層次結(jié)構(gòu)較合理、相對(duì)穩(wěn)定的師資隊(duì)伍，現(xiàn)有教授192人，博士生導(dǎo)師百余人，聘任一級(jí)學(xué)科帶頭人5名，二級(jí)學(xué)科帶頭人42名，學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人%名，并涌現(xiàn)了大批優(yōu)秀中青年教師。在海上交通工程、航海信息工程、船舶智能化、船舶動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)及節(jié)能技術(shù)、船機(jī)修造工程、通信與信息系統(tǒng)、海洋環(huán)境保護(hù)、海事法規(guī)體系等領(lǐng)域，集中了一批專業(yè)理論深厚、科研能力較強(qiáng)的知名專家、教授和學(xué)術(shù)思想活躍、富有創(chuàng)新精神的青年骨干。

Glorious History 歷史變遷

1909 Shipping Management Section of the Nar}yang Institute in Shanghai，the
procedessor of DMU，was established.

1909年大連海事大學(xué)的前身晚清郵傳部上海高等實(shí)業(yè)學(xué)堂(南洋公學(xué))船政科成立。

1953 Dalian Marine College was created through the amalgamation of three
merchant marine institutions:Shanghai Nautical College，the Northeast Navigation
College and Fujian Navigation School.

1953年上海航務(wù)學(xué)院、東北航海學(xué)院、福建航海?？茖W(xué)校合并成立大連海運(yùn)學(xué)院。

1994 Dalian Marine College was renamed Dalian Maritime Jniversity authorized
by the State Education Commission.

1994年經(jīng)國家教委批準(zhǔn)，學(xué)校更名為大連海事大學(xué)。
