洋洋：心濤，你知道LV嗎?

心濤：你說的是法國的知名品牌嗎?

洋洋：對呀，這個牌子的服裝、皮包特別高檔，尤其是皮包我超喜歡。

心濤：這個牌子的東西很貴的。

洋洋：那當(dāng)然了，一分價錢一分貨嘛。

心濤：你怎么突然想起來問我這個了?

洋洋：我看中LV的一款皮包，可是太貴了，我的錢不夠，想找你借點錢。

心濤：洋洋，我說一句你別不高興啊，咱們是工薪階層，你這樣有點兒太奢侈。

洋洋：怎么是奢侈，這叫超前消費。你看咱們單位的小劉用的包就是LV的，她還跟我說超前消費是現(xiàn)在的潮流。

心濤：我覺得你的消費觀不對，我們應(yīng)該學(xué)會節(jié)儉，不能盲目攀比，人云亦云。

洋洋：可是你上次不是還說我們要順應(yīng)時代嘛。

心濤：我說的是咱們的思想觀念要與時俱進，在物質(zhì)上一味地追求高檔次是不對的，而且我們的收入也不多啊。

洋洋：你說的有道理，我不應(yīng)該和別人比的。

心濤：這就對了，而且我覺得你現(xiàn)在用的那個包就挺好的。

YY: Xin Tao, have you heard of LV?

XT: Are you talking about the famous French brand?

YY: Yep, clothing and handbags from this brand are of exceptional quality, I'm especially fond of their handbags.

XT: Their goods are very expensive.

YY: Of course, one gets what one pays for.

XT: Why did you suddenly raise this topic?

YY: I'm in love with one of LV's handbags, it's really very expensive, I'm short on money and was wondering whether you can loan me some.

XT: Yang Yang, I'm going to say something, but please don't be unhappy (when you hear it), we're wage-earners (lit. working class), what you're doing is kinda too extravagant.

YY: It's not extravagant, it's called premature consumption. Just take a look at our colleague Xiao Liu, she's using an LV bag and she told me that premature consumption is the in thing right now.

XT: I feel that your concept of consumption is rather unbecoming, we should learn to be thrifty. We shouldn't keep up with the Joneses blindly and simply parrot what others say.

YY: But didn't you say before that we should flow with the times?

XT: What I meant was that we should keep our thinking abreast with modern developments. Being materialistic and blindly chasing after superior goods is not right. Also, we don't earn that much.

YY: You have a point, I shouldn't compare myself with others.

XT: Now you get it. Moreover I think the bag you're using right now is just fine.
