1. valet: 貼身男仆

2. engagement party: 訂婚派對。訂婚戒指就是engagement ring

3. in the trenches: 這里的意思是“我倆是同一條戰(zhàn)壕里的。”

4. newlywed: 新婚夫婦

例如：My newlywed husband said the same thing every morning.（我的新婚丈夫每天早晨都對我說出同樣的話。）

5. solo：單獨的
