Ian: Or instead of, "Enjoy the honey-heavy dew of slumber," "Yo, get some Z's."

Carmen: It's not the same. It's just, it sounds so good and it feels so good to say. It's rich and luscious and...

Ian: See how she lays her cheek upon her hand? Oh, that I were a glove upon that hand, that I might touch that cheek. See what I mean?

Carmen: Yep.

Carmen: Give me those flowers there, Dorcas. Here's flowers for you. Hot lavender, mint, savory. Now, My fairest friend, I would I had some flowers of the spring that might become your time of day. But these I lack to make you garlands of, and, my sweet friend, to strew you o'er and o'er.

Ian: What, like a corpse?

Carmen: No. Like a bank for love, to lie and play on. Not like a corpse, or if, not to be buried, but quick, and in mine arms.

Ian: Uh...Um, sorry, Bill. I forgot my line.

Bill: Take a break. We'll pick it up where we left off.

Nigel: Do not go to drama school. It'll ruin you.

Carmen: Well, thank you, Nigel. I'm enjoying your work too. Ah!

Bill: Carmen?

Julia: Let me help you.

Carmen: Did anybody see that?

Julia: No, you're fine.

Carmen: Okay.

Tibby: Guess what got here just before you did? (In a café) So I thought it'd be easier that way.

Lena: Wait. You told him you weren't pregnant in an e-mail?

Tibby: If I had called him or told him in person he might've thought things could just go back the way they were, but they can't.

Lena: Well, why not? I mean, if you're not pregnant, then what's the problem?

Tibby: I suck at relationships. Should've been a guy.

Lena: No, a guy wouldn't worry about sucking at relationships.

Tibby: You know what the problem is? Every time I try to get close to somebody, it's like there's something out there that just says, "Oh! Tibby's about to be happy. Better get her." I'm not really sure what to say, you know?

Lena: Well, maybe you're just scared.

Tibby: Yeah, maybe.

Lena: Hey, I should really get back.

Tibby: And leave me in the middle of my life? God. I'll have another breakdown if you stay.

Lena: Tempting. But I have an early class.

Tibby: Right-o.

Lena: Come on. I'll walk you back.
