托德：你說(shuō)你非常喜歡古典音樂(lè)，那你最喜歡的歌劇明星是誰(shuí)??？
Todd: You said you like classcal music very mauch. Then who is your favorite opera star?

阿美：有三個(gè)呢，世界三大男高音。
May: There are three of them, the Three Tenors.

托德：哦，你是說(shuō)帕瓦羅蒂、多明戈和卡雷拉斯。你去過(guò)他們的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演出嗎？
Todd: Oh, you mean Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras. Have you been to their live shows?

阿美：是的，那真是特別的經(jīng)歷。那是帕瓦羅蒂的個(gè)人演唱會(huì)，是他在北京的紫禁城舉辦的演出。
May: Yeah, it's really a unique experience. It's a solo concer by Pavarotti. he put on ther performance in the Forbidden City in Beijing.

托德：我聽說(shuō)過(guò)那場(chǎng)演出，那是他的告別演唱會(huì)。
Todd: I've heard of that one. It was also his swan song.

阿美：另外，談到古典音樂(lè)，我們就不能不提到維也納新年音樂(lè)會(huì)。
May: Besides, speaking of cassical music, we should never forget about the New Year's Concert.

托德：那是當(dāng)然。全世界的人們都通過(guò)電視或者收音機(jī)欣賞它。

May: Sure. It's undoubtedly one of the biggest classical music events. Have you ever been to the live show?

托德：是的，我參加了2005年的新年音樂(lè)會(huì)。
Todd: Yes, I went to the New Year's Concert in 2005.

阿美：哇，你太幸運(yùn)了。我是在電視上看的。但是到音樂(lè)廳欣賞一定很不一樣。
May: Wow, you are so lucky. I saw that one on TV. But it must be so different to be there in the concert hall.

托德：那是肯定的。你知道，到最棒的音樂(lè)廳聽最棒的管弦樂(lè)隊(duì)演出實(shí)在是棒極了。那是我最快樂(lè)的時(shí)光。
Todd: That's for sure. You know, it's really amazing to be in the best concert hall, listening to the performance by the best orchestra. I had the greatest time ever.

阿美：那次的指揮是誰(shuí)?。?br /> May: Who was the conductor at that event?

托德：羅林•馬澤爾。他表現(xiàn)得非常出色。而且，當(dāng)時(shí)她剛剛慶祝了他75歲的生日。
Todd: Lorin Maazel. he did an amazing job. Moreover, He just celebrated his 75th birthday.

阿美：真酷啊。我希望將來(lái)有一天我也可以去現(xiàn)場(chǎng)聽新年音樂(lè)會(huì)。
May: So cool. I wish I can go to the live New Year's Concert someday in the future.

托德：你一定會(huì)有機(jī)會(huì)的。你知道，音樂(lè)是超越國(guó)界的。
Todd: The right opportuninty for you would come along soon. You know, music is transnational.

阿美：這個(gè)我相信。對(duì)了，演出快要開始了，讓我們保持安靜吧。
May: I belive in that. Well, the perofrmance is about to begin. Let's be quiet.
