雪莉：我們來(lái)得太早了。離演出開始還有三個(gè)小時(shí)呢？
Shirley: We came too early. There're still three hours before the performance starts.

羅拉：我知道。對(duì)不起，我不該催你的，可我就是受不了在家里等。
Laura: I know. Sorry, I shoudn't have rushed you, but I just couldn't stay at home and wait.

雪莉：沒(méi)關(guān)系。要不我們參觀一下這個(gè)劇院？
Never nind. What about taking a look around the theater?

羅拉：為什么不呢？我很樂(lè)意這么做。
Laura: Why not? I'd love to do that.

雪莉：那我們走吧。這里有一個(gè)京劇藝術(shù)博物館。
Shirley: Here we go. There is a museum of the Beijing Opera art.

羅拉：哇，看這個(gè)。這么精致、漂亮。中國(guó)古代的人真穿這些衣服嗎？
Laura: Wow. Look at this. So delicate and beautiful. Did ancient Chinese people really wear them?

雪莉：不是的。他們只是戲服。你喜歡這些刺繡嗎？
Shirley: Not really. They are just opera costumes. Do you like the embroidery?

羅拉：我當(dāng)然喜歡了。中國(guó)古代一定有先進(jìn)的機(jī)器來(lái)做那樣的衣服。
Laura: I surely do. They must have had advanced machine in ancient China to do that.

雪莉：不、不、不。他們都是手工制作的，小姑娘。知道嗎，中國(guó)古代的女子都得做針線活。
Shirley: No, no, no. They are all handmade, girl. You know, the ancient Chinese women were supposed to be good at needlework.

羅拉：真實(shí)難以置信！我一定做不了這個(gè)。
Laura: Unbelievable! I could never do that.

雪莉：很少有人能做到。這就是為什么這些衣服只出現(xiàn)在博物館里啊。
Shirley: Very few can. That's why these clothes only appear in the museum.

羅拉：聽！有人在外面唱歌。那就是戲曲嗎？
Laura: Listen! Some people are singing outside. Is it the opera?

雪莉：哦，是的。我聽說(shuō)這里有一個(gè)戲迷俱樂(lè)部。他們現(xiàn)在可能在排練。想去看看嗎？
