B: Yes. We have socks made of various materials. These socks are of imported wool.

甲：你們能保證質(zhì)量嗎？
A: Can you guarantee the quality?

乙：絕對保證。
B: Yes, absolutely.

甲：連褲襪在哪兒？
A: Where are the panty-hose?

乙：這兒。我們有黑色、白色和透明的連褲襪。
B: Here. We have black, white and transparent panty-hose here.

（布朗太太想買一雙長統(tǒng)襪，她向售貨員打聽長統(tǒng)襪的情況。）
(Mrs. Brown wants to buy a pair of stockings and she asks the assistant about them.)

Mrs. Brown: Are these stockings made of silk?

售貨員：是純絲的。
Assistant: Yes, pure silk.

布朗太太：純絲和人造絲有什么區(qū)別？
Mrs. Brown: What’s the difference between artificial silk and pure silk?

售貨員：人造絲比真絲耐穿，但真絲穿上舒服。
Assistant: The artificial silk stockings are more durable than pure silk stockings, but pure silk stockings are more comfortable to wear.

布朗太太：謝謝。我買一雙真絲的。
Mrs. Brown: Thank you. I’d like to buy a pair of pure silk stockings.

售貨員：你還要什么嗎？
Assistant: What else do you want?

布朗太太：請給我看看那邊的連褲襪。
Mrs. Brown: Please show me the panty-hose over there.

Assistant: These panty-hose are all Hong Kong made. We can guarantee the quality.

Mrs. Brown: Could you give me a discount if I buy a dozen?

Assistant: Sorry, madam. Our price is fixed.

布朗太太：那么我買兩條。
Mrs. Brown: Then I’ll buy two.
