歷屆奧運會主題歌曲2004年第28屆雅典奧運會歌曲《A thousand year》

《A thousand year》收錄于《Unity －2004雅典奧運官方專輯》中，這首歌曲的演唱者Sting(斯汀)被當(dāng)今樂壇冠以詩人歌手的美名，憑借那獨一無二的沙啞又不失細(xì)膩的嗓音，始終如自由不羈的云，蕩漾于緲緲的空中。Sting的獨唱事業(yè)開始于The Police解散前的1982年，1985年，Sting出版了首張個人專輯《藍海龜之夢》，相比之下，這張專輯的歌詞顯得比The Police時期的作品更富智慧。這張專輯中還有“愛他就給他自由”、“心的要塞”和“俄國人”等多首歌暢銷一時。從80年代末開始，Sting經(jīng)常涉足政界，用進行巡回演出的款項來資助印第安人爭取生活的自由。進入90年代以來，Sting多次獲得葛萊美大獎，成為全球最有影響的藝人之一。
