《幽州夜飲》是唐代詩人張說創(chuàng)作的五言律詩。詩的首聯(lián)描寫出北地秋天雨夜的蕭瑟。頷聯(lián)一轉(zhuǎn)而寫高堂宴會，以宴會能暫忘“遲暮心”而影射出平日的遲暮之感。頸聯(lián)字面上說的是身在軍中“宜”作劍舞，地處塞上只“重”笳音。然而不難看出，實則是說在邊地軍府中只有粗獷的劍舞、笳音可供觀賞。尾聯(lián)承前而抒情，表面上說能作為邊城將領觀舞賞樂全賴君主恩惠，實則也是含沙射影表達出了牢騷之意。

A banquet is held in the hall;
The guests forget their spring and fall.
Sword dance fills the army with cheer;
