雙語詩歌翻譯|王國維-《臨江仙·聞?wù)f金微郎戌處》

這是一首擬古的思婦詞，但下片的比擬卻能多少翻出一些新意來，其溫柔敦厚處，尤令人愴然動容。晚唐杜茍鶴《春閨怨》詩：“朝喜花艷春，暮悲花委塵。不悲花落早，悲妾似花身。”杜茍鶴末兩句雖未怨天尤人，然猶有怨恨之意。本詞卻是一味溫柔。

聞?wù)f金微郎戌處，
昨宵夢向金微；
不知今又過遼西：
千屯沙上暗，
萬騎月中嘶。
郎似梅花儂似葉，
怯來手撫空枝。
可憐開謝不同時，
漫言花落早，
只是葉生遲。

Not knowing that he had gone already to Liao-hsi (2),
Where the sky darkens over a thousand camps on the sand
And ten thousand horses neigh beneath the moon.
My love is like a plum blossom and I am the leaf,
But all I can caress is a barren branch.
I mourn that flowers go and leaves bud at different times;
Don't say that flowers fall before their time:
It's only the leaves that grow too late.
