Cock 一字由來已久，可當(dāng)名詞或形容詞。當(dāng)名詞時(shí)，指“陰莖”、“王八”等意，但在美國(guó)南方及黑人的詞匯中也指女人陰部；當(dāng)形容詞時(shí)，有“黃色的”、“色情的”之意，如 cock books and cock magazines(黃色書刊雜志)。

Cocksucker可當(dāng)名詞及驚嘆詞。當(dāng)名詞時(shí)，指“畜生”、“不是玩藝兒”、“家伙”、“壞東西”、“令人煩的或冒火的東西或地方(annoying or infuriating thing or place)”，同義字有son of a bitch， fellow，rascal等；當(dāng)驚嘆詞，是在被弄痛或受驚叫痛或動(dòng)怒時(shí)用之。 Cocksucking是形容詞，與goddamned，fucking(可惡的，可鄙的)同義。
