have  dinner  不加 “a” , 而 “at a dinner party” 中的 “a” 并不修飾 “dinner” 而是 “party”

ask sb to do sth祈使句

next to : 與......相鄰 / sit next to me 坐我旁邊

unsmiling : bad mix 很難與人融合

the new film is coming to the cinema. / A new play will be on at ‘the globe’ 即將上映

the film will be on那部電影即將要上映

‘Are you enjoying your dinner?’

用虛擬語氣 :

1、與現(xiàn)在事實(shí)相反, 從句使用一般過去時, 主句使用would+動詞原形

if you ate more and talked less,we would both enjoy our dinner

if it rained,it would not be hot如果下雨, 就不會這么熱

if you help me,I will be grateful如果你幫我, 我會感激你 (正常語氣)

if you helped me,I would be grateful如果你幫了我, 我會感激你(可惜你沒有幫我, 我不會感激你)

if it rained,I would not go. (會去的)

if it rains,I will not go.(不一定會去) 正常語氣

在以下條件句中, 主句中用將來時或祈使句, 而從句中則用現(xiàn)在時.

It he is out, I'll call tomorrow.                If have time, I'll be writing to him tomorrow.

You'll miss the train if you don't hurry.        Please don't disturb him if he is busy.

If he is working I'll not disturb him.

細(xì)讀以下句子 :

在這一類條件句中, if從句談?wù)撓胂竦那闆r, 主句則推測想像的結(jié)果. 在從句中要用動詞的過去時, 這并不表明過去的某一特定時間或過去某一動作, 因此常被稱作 “非真實(shí)的過去” , 整個條件句也被稱作非真實(shí)條件句. 如果if從句中的動詞是be, 那么應(yīng)該在第一和第三人稱單數(shù)名詞之后用were.

If you went to the exhibition you would enjoy it. 假如你去看展覽, 你會喜歡的.

If you saw him now you wouldn't recognize him. 假如你現(xiàn)在見到他, 你會認(rèn)不出來的.

Would he get annoyed if I told him about it? 假如我把此事告訴他, 他會煩惱嗎?

If I were in your position, I would act differently. 假如我處于你的位置, 我會采取不同的作法.

He would help you if he were here. 假如他在這兒, 他會幫你的.

If you could make him change his mind, you would save him a lot of trouble. 假如你能使他改變主意, 你會使他免了許多麻煩.
