China has added seven universities to a list of those it aims to elevate to world-class status, taking the total to 147. The second list of universities and disciplines included in the "double world-class project” was released by the ministries of education and finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission on Monday. Based on the monitoring statistics, results, and evaluation of the previous stage, a total of 147 universities and a range of disciplines have been selected in the second stage after optimized procedures and expert reviews.
第二輪“雙一流”建設(shè)高校及建設(shè)學科名單2月14日公布,共147所高校入選。根據(jù)首輪監(jiān)測數(shù)據(jù)和成效評價,教育部、財政部、國家發(fā)展改革委按照“總體穩(wěn)定,優(yōu)化調(diào)整”的原則,經(jīng)過“雙一流”建設(shè)專家委員會研究,確定了新一輪建設(shè)高校及學科范圍。
The new additions to the list include Shanxi University, Xiangtan University in Hunan province and Nanjing Medical University in Jiangsu province. All of the 140 universities in the project's first list, released in 2017, remained on the latest list.
第二輪“雙一流”名單中新增了山西大學、湘潭大學、南京醫(yī)科大學等7所高校。2017年進入第一輪“雙一流”名單的140所高校全部進入了第二輪"雙一流"建設(shè)高校名單。
