城鎮(zhèn)新增就業(yè)目標(biāo)完成

China has created 11.33 million new jobs in its urban areas during the first 10 months of this year, achieving the target for the whole year in advance. China's surveyed urban unemployment rate stood at 4.9% in October, 0.4 percentage points lower than the same period last year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics show.

國家統(tǒng)計局最新數(shù)據(jù)顯示，1至10月份，全國城鎮(zhèn)新增就業(yè)1133萬人，提前完成全年目標(biāo)任務(wù)。10月份，全國城鎮(zhèn)調(diào)查失業(yè)率為4.9%，低于去年同期0.4個百分點(diǎn)。

From January to October, the country's surveyed urban unemployment rate averaged 5.1%, NBS spokesperson Fu Linghui said on Monday.

國家統(tǒng)計局新聞發(fā)言人付凌暉11月15日表示，1至10月份，全國城鎮(zhèn)調(diào)查失業(yè)率平均為5.1%。

"The surveyed unemployment rate among those aged between 16 and 24 has dropped for three consecutive months, showing that the employment situation of young people is gradually improving," Fu said, adding the main reason is a gradual increase in the employment of college students.

付凌暉說："16歲到24歲的青年人失業(yè)率連續(xù)三個月下降，這說明青年人就業(yè)情況在逐步改善，主要原因還是由于大學(xué)生就業(yè)入職在逐步增加。"

The rate among those aged between 25 and 59, the majority of the labor market, stood at 4.2% in October, the same level as in September. China's State Council has released a plan this year on boosting employment for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), vowing to add over 55 million new urban jobs in the next five years.

10月份，25-59歲就業(yè)主體人群城鎮(zhèn)調(diào)查失業(yè)率為4.2%，與9月份持平。根據(jù)國務(wù)院今年印發(fā)的《"十四五"就業(yè)促進(jìn)規(guī)劃》，到2025年，要實(shí)現(xiàn)城鎮(zhèn)新增就業(yè)5500萬人以上。
