世界海拔最高高速公路通車(chē)

The world's highest expressway, running between the city of Nagchu and Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, went into operation on Saturday, with the opening of the final 227-km section between Nagchu and Yangbajan, according to the Ministry of Transport.

來(lái)自交通運(yùn)輸部的消息，8月21日，長(zhǎng)227公里的G6京藏高速那曲至羊八井段通車(chē)試運(yùn)行，至此，世界上海拔最高的高速公路——那曲-拉薩高速公路全線通車(chē)。

The Nagchu-Lhasa expressway, running 295 km with an average altitude of over 4,500 meters, is part of the expressway linking Beijing and Lhasa, and is the first highway connecting Lhasa and the grasslands of northern Tibet.

那拉高速公路全長(zhǎng)295公里、平均海拔超過(guò)4500米，是連接北京和拉薩的高速公路的一部分，也是連接西藏自治區(qū)首府拉薩與藏北草原的第一條高速公路。

Its operation will shorten the drive between Lhasa and the city of Nagchu to three hours from more than six.

通車(chē)后，拉薩市與那曲市之間的車(chē)程將由過(guò)去的6個(gè)多小時(shí)縮短至現(xiàn)在的3個(gè)小時(shí)。

It will significantly enlarge the transport capacity and improve the level of security of the corridor connecting Tibet with northwest China's Qinghai province, said an official with the ministry.

交通運(yùn)輸部官員稱(chēng)，那拉高速公路將顯著提升青藏大通道的通行能力和安全保障水平。

The Yangbajan-Lhasa section of the expressway opened to traffic in October 2020.

那拉高速羊八井至拉薩段已于去年10月通車(chē)。
